Death and disputes: Litigating in the private client world

Wednesday 29 March (12.00 - 13.30) - ONLINE webinar

Edinburgh Law Seminars in conjunction with Brodies LLP.

Fee: £25 per person

About the seminar

For all those with an interest in private client matters, for whom litigating about them may be a possibility (which may, sadly, be most private client solicitors), come and hear Brodies’ expert speakers, on a range of vital topics tailored to assisting you and your clients.

We will cover some key subjects of increasing interest and importance, delivered by practitioners with huge experience in this practice area. The topics will be relevant to those in the field of personal law, and also for litigators who are instructed in contentious private client matters.

High quality CPD at an excellent price.

(Please note that this is in addition to and different from, Edinburgh Law Seminars long-running Estate Planning and Tax Review series – you should enjoy both!)

Chaired by Alan Barr, subjects covered will be:-

  • Disputes relating to trusts and trustees, Christine O'Neill, K.C, Partner and Chairman, Brodies LLP

  • Challenging a will, Jamie Reekie, Senior Associate and Solicitor Advocate, Brodies LLP

  • Claims by cohabitants on death under section 29 of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 2006, Susie Mountain, Partner and Solicitor Advocate, Brodies LLP
